Psalm 61:2 is such an encouraging verse. Here's what the imagery means to me:
- God is a rock - a firm foundation, steadfast, strong and never changing.
- He is a high place - a place of safety but also a point with perspective that is above what we can normally see.
- He is higher than I - I fall and fail so often, but where I am not able, he is infinitely able.

I find that I often forget what God says about me and instead I can so easily get caught up in hearing what the world says about me.
Thank goodness that what God says is different to what the world says. As I stand on the truth of who the Bible says I am, I am able to step into who He has made me to be and into what He has called me to do more and more. In this post I share 5 of my favourites!
